Hi ganewatch! Your mod is absolutely amazing! A true love letter to the MMX games. Hats off to you.
I have a request if you have the time. I've been trying to implement your code for the chargeable armgun into the Samus mod. Samus, like Megaman, just isn't the same without a working armgun.
I've been playing with this for a couple days now and I just don't think I have the skills to do this. Is there any way you could lend me a hand?
I already posted on the forum to the community and I asked the Samus modder if they know how to do this, but you might be one of the few people that can actually help me with this.

Next update will hopefully have support for custom models being able to use the X moveset. Should facilitate integration.
That would be truly amazing. I've spent another day on it and I'm starting to understand the code a little better. I also found a great video on animations. My goal at this point is to make some running and gunning animations using the MMX code for bullet creation and then using the sonic code to figure out a working morph ball.
If I can figure out those two things, I can probably start adding in her suit upgrades, like spiderball, shinespark, space jump.
She can jump off of walls too; not as easily as Megaman, but I can still use your code to figure out the wall jump mechanic.
I feel like I dont need to reinvent the wheel and that there's a lot of good opportunities here for making a well made Samus mod.
I'd like to make something at the quality level of some of these other character mods, like Megman X, Link, and Kirby.
P.S. I'm the mod developer for Legend of Samus: BotW and Legend of Samus: TotK. If you're a metroid fan, you should check those out.
The code is a bit complicated right now. Hopefully I'll streamline it a bit more. I'll see how far I could push integration for the next update.

wait are you ask which armor should be added first? or are you asking something else?
Honestly it sounds like they want all of that, and in 15 days, which is the height of entitled and rude, if that's what is being asked. I don't think there's any possible context in which what's being said isn't rude, and trying to impose some sort of deadline along with it.

I think that a bit to much to ask for in such a small amount of time
Asking wayyyy too much from someone, why not find out how you can contribute instead of making a monstrous request? This isn't exactly a place to be piling on the slow and steady work being done. It makes things more difficult for the author.
These requests you are making are... MASSIVE, and well sure you can expect some of those armours in the future... that's also a ridiculous deadline for ALL of that in October 15th which is tomorrow... also... levels from X1-X6 would literally not work in Mario 64
Okay, so a few things you should understand, and need to.
1.) Mods like this are born out of a few things. Usually it's a personal vested interest in what is being done (in this case, adding MMX characters to SM64). I've also seen mod making being used as a method to learn programming. Either way, this leads into...
2.) Mod authors typically create and work on their mods in their free time. This free time can scale up or down due to life circumstances. Circumstances that are very much not our business. That said, we get what we get when we get it. Patience is required in this sort of thing.
3.) For some mod authors, this can also be a bit of a hobby. It may be something they quite enjoy (and tends to be unless burnout come into it), and thus they do it on their terms. If they don't get some sort of personal happiness from it, the mod will likely get dropped eventually.
4.) It's generally accepted as very rude to come into someone's mod and start shooting off requests as if the mod author is some sort of work horse that you can go "Make this for me!" at, and expect them to do so. Further more, what you've done, which is to have the balls to stipulate a deadline, too? Rude, inconsiderate, and entitled. It's little wonder you got told no.
It's good that you saw the mod and became enthusiastic about it, but you can't be doing this sort of thing, and then expect a favorable response from the author or fans of the mod. It's just not gonna happen. On top of that, as Sammyhedgehog1998 said, the levels from the X games would not work in SM64. You are absolutely barking up the wrong tree for that.
Of course you're welcome to wait patiently like the rest of us to see what comes out next for the mod, and to see what ganewatch teases next. Don't be doing what you just did though... that isn't cool.
