The updates of The SM64DX are Really Annoying don't ya think? :\
It's just more opportunities for me to push more fixes on my side too.
Hey, are X and co. supposed to die from a single fireball? Like you get hit with a fireball and the burn damage never stops, leading to death. That feels like a bug, but I feel like I should ask about it to make sure.

Also when they walk, it sounds like they're walking on wet floors most of the time when walking on dry floors.

Edit: The water walking sound may in fact be a result of something else; I need to look into what I was using last night. I have a feeling, but I'm not sure.
Someone pointed this before. I thought maybe it was because of last coopdx updates, but I'll check it more thouroughly for the next release.
Bro the mod doesnt load fine the characters are using the mario moveset how i fix it?
You need to use coopdx 1.3.1, otherwise the mod will not work. I know nothing about how far the Android version has progressed, if you are using that.

I feel like the black zero skin should have a couple of buffs compared to stock zero. namely 2x damage dealt

That'd be horrible. Zero already does CRAZY damage. Guy flat out deletes Bowser compared to X. More on top of that would be too much.

Oh, no. This time I will try to make it so that there won't be any minor releases. Layer will be in the initial release alongside Axl, Third Armor X, and Vile MK-II. Palette could also be added in the initial release. So 5 new additions total.
I never really intended for it to be any minor release or patches. I always do these because of glaring bugs or some coopdx update that breaks the mod.

As always, your hard work is appreciated. What we have with the mod so far is amazing in itself. Thank you for going as far as you've gone, and even going beyond. Also thank you for the preview; I eagerly look forward to Axl and Layer's inclusion in the mod.

No. Much later than that. I am not always working on it and have to take care of other things first.

So it turns out that one of the mods i have (to be more specific, Milne the Crystal Fox) was the one responsable that the attacks didn't affect the enemies i mentioned. Probably because of the code used in the projectiles the character use, since the recent update of that mod was in 2024, either that or alternatively: said code and your code "clashes" with each other when executing the server, causing the game to only prioritize Milne instead of MMX for some reason.

This issue wasn't present in before the 1.3 update as far as i remember.

Also, forgot to mention: there's a weird bug that cause any of the MMX characters to recolate to a random location when unlocking both a star doors and bowser/3rd floor doors.

What if you used Character Select?

Also yes, I saw that bug with the janky teleport
 
With Character Select everything Is fine, minus the script error that always appears when starting to host, but again, everything works.

I'll try experimenting with that to see if anything changes.

my guess is that when you are not using CS, you could have both the MMX moveset and Milne activated, which causes the issues
