Having some complications with the game.

Fuck you, i don't use that shit.
So, i was about to replay sm64coop dx to see the new features of the MMX mod, alongside other mods I've had before i changing to another operative system. But, i encountered some errors that i haven't experienced since the last time played the game, here's a list of them:
  • Some attacks of the characters included in the MMX mod doesn't affect certain enemies when they should, like for example Goombas and Koopa troopas. But they can still damage bosses, other enemies like the chain chomp, and bomb-ombs (Albeit the bombs only explode instead of being knocked away by the hits). Weird part is that other attacks can still damage the before mentioned enemies that can't.
  • Other mods (according to the game) have script errors, even thought they work as they supposed to. To be more precise: Sonic and Amy whenever you move them in either any stage or the outside of the castle, and both Kiryu and Milne when exiting and re-entering a level.
  • For some reason, the MMX characters when attempting to stomp either a Goomba or a Spindrift, they receive damage compared to other characters. This also affects Sonic and amy.
  • Both the MMX characters, Sonic and Amy, can't break blocks by jumping. Unless they perform an attack.
  • This may not count, but, sometimes when you land after a jump as sonic, you can keep the ball form if you still move.
  • When i was hit by a spindrift as X, the animation didn't play, but it play the sound and registered the damage.
I've tried redownloading both the OpenGL and DirectX versions, and even changing the rom the game runs, but neither of them worked. Additionally, I've also tried to make a recording so all you can see the errors, but I'm afraid that ShareX (the app i use to record) just didn't want to.

Any advice on how to fix this would be great.

Oh well, at least i tried. 😕
Luckily the next update should fix this.
this may be a mod bug ether intentional or updates broke it, redownloading or changing things wont fix a mod really
-Quick update: turns out the recent version of the game is causing the problems i described before; I decided to play the 1.2.1 version out of curiosity and the said errors didn't appear in any given moment, can't really say the say for the MMX mod since it's incompatible with said version [causing too much lag and other negatives].

-Update 2: Hello again, after playing the recent update, while it fixed most of the issues i described before (about four to be more precise) the errors are still present, but this time it shows that the mods that are affected have script errors instead of some of them displaying the message.
As far as i know this could be indeed an issue to the mods themselves rather than the update to some extent...probably.
fortunately, either the modders are more likely aware of this errors and will fix this, or the second half of the 1.3 patch would put things together.
