Sonic Character: Rebooted v1.2.3.1

Absolutely sick. So much fun to play around with. Idk if it's intentional but the /sonic command doesn't do anything anymore.

My only wish is I wish I could use the moveset with other models. (unless there is and I'm being silly)

My only issue with the mod is the bounce, I don't like how Sonic loses all air control when bouncing, this is more or less the only fix to his gameplay I want or need, the bounce should give the same freedom of movement as the jump, maybe not while going down but even then it should have some free control, to add to this, using the bounce without pressing on any direction should make you stop all horizontal movement in the air as Sonic currently has no good way to stop all speed (Which would be VERY useful in some platforming segments)

Love this so much, grew up on sonic, so playing with friends with this is a riot

I honestly love the the mod so much, and that lythero played makes it so much popular and makes it more of a sonic game than a mario game.

at first the character was almost uncontrollable and was to fast, then got use to it and now i always want to play as the character on all the servers

Im still waiting and wonder what you'll replace the long jump, because I want to BLJ so bad

Honestly, a really fun mod to mess around with, albeit often feels OP compared to the base moveset. Only exception comes in on stages with not much ground to run on, such as Rainbow Ride
Sonic himself is a blast to move around as, and making use of his momentum and how it affects things such as the wall dash (or whatever its called) is satisfying to use.
Amy, while not being as fast, is just as fun to bounce around as with the constant hammer jumps, and still can build up speed with giant steps if you have the space.
Really I only have one gripe, which is a nitpick more than anything, and that is tying the gloves, shoe stripe, and socks all to the same slot on Sonic as well as having the shoe buckles be unable to be recolored when so many colors go unused. I understand why it is done, as it keeps things simple, but allowing those three parts to be recolored separately as well as allowing the shoe buckles to be recolored would allow for more freedom for color palettes on Sonic.
I look forward to seeing what other characters are added to this pack, with a personal hope being one is Metal Sonic. Even if he isn't added down the line though, I will still be here for future versions.

Really awesome! Sonic can be a bit tough with his speed when it comes to precise plat forming but it’s just in his nature I suppose. I feel any swims a tad too fast as well but that could be skill issue.
My only complaints/suggestion is fixing the camera for sonic when he’s in water. It seems to be tied to control stick and walking becomes an issue in water. And with sonic Eagle, and Amy’s hover spin in air. I know it’s using the limits of the 2button scheme but this does support 2 optional buttons and that would make it way easier to use.
Regardless this is a must have for me as a huge sonic fan! (Also how do I trigger that sneaky knuckles Easter egg??? I saw it but can’t re create it in Bobomb battlefield?)

Overall a super fun mod, and I look forward to seeing who comes next!

I created an account just for this lol. Im having slight issues with the mod. Everytime I enable it, it says theres a script error. When Sonic loads in, its just the pointers and joints, still sounds and plays like Mario.

Hi, I made an account to actually comment on this mod. I really enjoy this Sonic mod! Its fun to zoom around as him, and Amy is very enjoyable too! Last night, me and some friends did notice this mod sometimes crashes the game when going to the top floor of the castle and heading into the Mirror Room where Snowman's Land is. It was the latest version of this mod while also having it enabled with MarioHunt v.2.6.2. Still need to test if this happens with just the Sonic mod enabled only, but thought id report it regardless!

Once again fantastic work on the mod! I hope to eventually see more characters like Tails and Knuckles maybe in the future!

I enjoyed playing as Sonic through the game with his speed and moveset, and I'm having fun with what Amy has too.

Love the mod but it crashes when using with character select.

very good and super fun to play, but would be better as a CS mod. having to type a command and switch your character from the normal menu is much more annoying than just selecting from the CS menu
