Sonic Character: Rebooted v1.2.4.1

The best Sonic mod I've seen in a while, I never turn this off. I don't know if there's some conflict with other mods (like character select or character select plus) but Amy's hammer never bounces off of walls and the twirl/spin has a chance of also not bouncing off of walls. Sonic's moves all work unless some qol or moveset replaces what Z+B does, of course.
The voices sound pretty close to the original voices these characters had early on, during their first few 3D games and early cartoons (for Sonic, at least). And the animations are great, they play different enough that beating some regular levels can be just as fun as figuring things out for the first time.
If anyone is reading and has not downloaded this mod yet, you should do it right now and NEVER turn it off, it's just the best Sonic mod you'll find.
I'd love to see your take on Knuckles, Tails and even Robotnik. Cheers!

EXCELLENT!!!!!!! i LOVE this mod, i always use this mod in my server, and this is PEAK!!! the movesets, the characters, the standalone function, EVERYTHING IS GOOOOD!! The only thing i would want is Tails (and maybe Knuckles?) being a playable character. I hope the creator of mod will read this and add these characters, it would be so cool! Well, ba bye

This mod is amazing. I used Sonic Character: Rebooted as the base and was able to customize it with a Modern Sonic model, water running, a light mist trail, and some small movement tweaks.

The moveset already felt great, and the mod gave me a strong foundation to build the Sonic experience I wanted in SM64 Coop DX.

Huge respect to the creator. Thank you for making such a fun and flexible mod.

Fantastic Mod! Though there is something you should know, if choosing Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Wario, all their voices default to whoever was chosen at the start. Really hope you can patch this. Other than that, love this mod.

My favorite sonic mod! My only issue is it has error with The Wario Bros mod by Jerthepear that comes with Captain Syrup. I don't recall what issue it gave me at first as it eventually just worked fine for me.

this is one ofthe best and gradst sonic mods I know but you should update it cuz everytime we try to go into the mirror room since they updated sm64coopdx it keeps crashing even before we open the door but its fine with amy but her eyes are behind her head and the pallete is fucked this is not only with this mod but with another mod that is also a sonic mod but it only changes the model and animation and adds voiicelines.

This is easily my favorite mod for Coop DX! Sonic and Amy are really fun to play as and I can tell how much love and effort was put into making them playable in SM64. I really enjoy cute little details like how Amy wears a coat in snowy courses. Excellent stuff; I appreciate the work that was put into this!

This is a very good mod, used it in my playthrough, but when I enter one of the doors on the second floor, my game just crashes. If it weren't for that bug, it'd be five stars. But because of that, it's only three.

Great stuff! Sonic is super fun to crack open the base SM64 levels with, however my one complaint is in the description, it calls the slide kick replacement the "Whirlwind Kick" when I'm pretty sure that's called the "Humming Top"

My rating has lowered because of two bugs. The first is that the mod locks your character's voice from the "Player" menu to certain characters. Meaning Luigi when selected via Character Select menu can be stuck with Mario's voice if Mario is the chosen character in the Player Menu. This bug disappears when the mod Sonic Characters: Rebooted is removed.

The second bug is that the mod completely crashes the game when entering the mirror room.

I hope these issues can be addressed, because the mod is otherwise phenomenal. I would love to play the game with it without having to keep maneuvering around those bugs

It's a very fun mod to mess around with, but there is a problem, ever since that 1.3.2 update, I try to enter the mirror room, it crashes every time before I could even open the door. Back then when it was just 1.3.1 it didn't crash, I just hope y'all fix the problem since this is really the only mod I play around with.

Utterly incredible and fun as fuck. I just wish Amy's basic hammer attack had a better hitbox. More often than not it doesn't hit when it really should.
