I love it i dont understand why sonic is his classic and not adventure design but still great!

There is a ton of love and care put into this mod, and every character brings something unique to the table with their moveset. It feels genuinely fun just traversing and moving around the world with these characters, which is the gold standard for a mod like this - it captures the pure essence of fun through movement that Mario 64 did when we all loaded it up for the first time.

The voices are fitting, with two notable exceptions - Rosalina, and Birdo. For Birdo, the performance is fine, nothing wrong with it - to this day there isn't a Nintendo release where she speaks with a human voice, so it's a bit jarring, and doesn't quite click for me.

For Rosalina, it's clear a trans woman was chosen for the role, and as a trans woman myself, this is not a good voice fit. It's clear that she understands the character well, and put her best performance forward. It also immediately sticks out - the timbre of the voice is breathy, but not feminine. It does not fit Rosaline to have a male-sounding voice.

Other than these two wrinkles, this mod is excellent. Please continue to keep up the good work.

i love that vanilla character movesets are included now, but the fact that they can't be used on other CS characters like the old version kinda bums me out

hope that can be added as a toggle one day maybe

Amazing, I love the move sets for the extra characters. The only issue I have is the voice for Rosalina, she sounds a bit off compared the rest of the cast.

Be warned that Extra Characters Plus will break other character mods; in my experience it breaks Kirby, Madeline from Celeste and Warioland 64. I do admire what it does add, and I'm sure compatibility with unrelated mods wasn't at the top of the authors' list of things to do, so it isn't the end of the world.

Pros: The movesets are great and some are even creative. I love the feel of playing as Peach and Yoshi as they have their unique jumps. Daisy also given a double jump helps. DK is also really great and I recommend this DK over Bananza DK mod.

Cons: No hate on the VA but three of the characters sound a tad obnoxious. Birdo is SUPER loud when you select her and no idea if the talking fits her. I'm sure talking is part of her character but I'm more use to Birdo just making a noises. Rosalina does NOT sound like Rosalina and Wapeach sounds like Wario to me but talking different. The Voice actors aren't horrible just don't think it fits the characters and Birdo needs to be toned down when selected.

Spike is really fun and unique character from the movie. Glad he's a mod but not being able to throw the bombs he produces feels missing. I also think throwing hammers would be better than bomb but maybe I'm bias cause I just DL bomberman who I hope will do that later.

Would like to see: Honestly just being allowed to pick who I want shown in my roster would be nice. I already have a Sonic from another mod with Amy and rather not have two Sonics.

The perfect mod for people looking to play as their favorite Mario characters with unique, yet balanced, custom movesets. I would recommend this mod to anyone who wants to play Super Mario 64 in a new way.

Specifically, I am a really big fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, and this mod implements him into the world of Mario 64 very well.

My only issue is that I cannot figure out how to ground pound (or bounce) with Sonic. I've been able to do so on a few occasions but it seems very inconsistent. Is there something that I'm missing? I can only ground pound consistently when flying with the wing cap (or wing shoes in Sonic's case). Please help.

One thing I really like about the characters on display within this mod that I don't think many people have talked about is how... balanced they all feel when compared to one another.

Sure, some of these characters do have their own gimmicks and playstyles that set them apart from the rest of the cast, but none of them feel too overpowered when compared to one another, nor do any of these special traits feel like they inherently "break the game". Not in my eyes, at least.

All 16 characters in the roster (11 if you don't count the vanilla characters) feel solid in their own right, and I think it's that little attention to detail makes this already amazing selection all the more enjoyable. Great work all around!

This mod pack is very good. Only major downside is Wapeach's voice. It really doesn't fit her at all. She needs to sound more gremlin-like.

Sonic I'd say in terms of movement it on part on how he moved in SA1/SA2 plus the Insta-Shield is a nice bonus/suprise.

I give my thanks for giving the main 5 the character moveset mod by default. It really does make every character feel unique, and now only Mario gets to do the high triple jump, which is a godsend.

That aside, I still would've given this a 5 regardless because this is my favorite mod to use. I always make sure to enable it when booting up the game.

This mod is awesome as it is right now, but Sonic still does that A-pose thing after every Spinball action, i don't know if that was intentional or not.

(btw, sorry for the off-topic suggestion on the review, but i needed to speak about it somewhere :v)

At this point, my request would be some sort of API or UI to toggle moves for some characters, like Sonic's homing attack by drop-dash, or Peach's hover by Daisy's double jump.
