WAAAANDERFUL! BEEEEAUTIFUL! E-E-E-EXCELLENT-E!
This has been the most fun I've had with Wario in a long time, to the point where it's rekindling my love for Wario Land and Super Mario 64 at the same time. This is a fantastic mod, and all the options for the different Warios are a lot of fun to mess around with. If I could ask for just one thing? I'd love a voice pack where Shake It! Wario uses his early 2000s voice clips, like from Wario World, Mario Golf 64, Mario Party 4, etc, since I really prefer to use his design he had from the old Wario Land official artwork, but I'm not a fan of the Shake It! voice clips. The only other thing I think I would like is if he had some version of the triple jump, although I understand that isn't really necessary with the Wario Land flavor and abilities you gave him. Sorry if this is a troublesome review. Thank you for all the work you put in! I have all the abilities unlocked and it's a ton of fun to use them, and i have about half of the treasure chests left to find.
If I could pinpoint some real issues I've encountered, using the default camera, it tries to stay directly under Wario when he's swimming, which makes underwater levels very frustrations, considering the free analog camera makes me nauseous. I either have to change my camera type or my character, neither of which I want to do! And while he does feel very good to control, and I especially love shoulder bashing and jump rolling, he's a little too slippery for the level design compared to Mario. Which is especially frustrating when trying to maneuver in tight spaces over ledges. Shoulder bash should also count as catching for NPCs like Mips and Ukiki since it's harder to run and punch than it is for Mario. But despite those issues, this is still one of the GREATEST mods I've ever encountered, and more than deserves five stars! Looking forward to getting all the stars with Wario! Can't wait to shoulder bash Final Bowser into oblivion!
