Brutal Bosses v2.1

Love it. Bosses overall are much more interesting. Got stuck on bowser 2 as we would keep glitching through the stage falling into the lava making the fight nearly impossible

Pairing this mod with Weather cycle DX... I would say epic is an understatement for how insane this showdown was against the dark grand star! It spawns in a thunder storm for the final bowser fight and really amps up the stakes! I'll even mute the original song that plays and replace it with something more cinematic. I still however don't think the ending with Peach fits after doing a battle with life hanging in the balance "Lets bake a delicious cake" XD. I freaking love this mod man! Thanks for all the hard work you put into it. It must've taken you a really long time to make it.

This mod is amazing! It really turns Mario 64 into a Dark Souls-style experience. The final fight against Dark Star is especially awesome. Great job!

that final fight was a nightmare and brutal like he was a Boss. will never 100% again but will fight the others. thank goodness vile can deal with his pressure.

Didn't fk like it! the true final boss looks like a cheap replica of general from Kaiser Knuckle (that is even the same thing as the grand dark star)...and it's not even this close to be beatable... i just fk ragequit... like damn! 4 hours and i still haven't beat the shi out of that cheater... Very very unbalanced, it should NOT be considered 100% the game

it's not worth my time... i'll never play this mod again... it just ruined my experience with Mario 64!

The third toad star is glitched, but it is still a very good mod

Amazing mod, if there was a way to disable the cannon quiz sections in settings or something it would be perfect. Great job.

overall pretty fun makes the game quite a bit harder which someone like me needs since base game is far too easy normally. there are 2 major bugs though.

in the 2nd bowser fight when he shifts the platform sometimes the platform itself will just break and will lead to an almost unavoidable death. (happens VERY often and is VERY annoying)

to open the cannon, you need to answer a question...only problem is that the question never shows up so you just have to guess the answer since both the question and answers are just invisible.

I would still recommend even with the bugs since it is mostly playable when it comes to the other things in the mod that work just fine.

(I would assume these glitches will be patched in the future....right?)

it's a fun experience with friends and other players but i wish you could disable something if there are bugs with it like in the bowser 2 fight where he would become unkillable for some reason while being able to keep everything else

Ooooh, I haven't tried this yet but I will get my friends/family to try this together! I have been wanting to replay SM64 again but Bowser as boss has just been too easy that isn't worth it most of the time haha. But with this I'm excited as a young kid again playing coop together!

2nd bowser need a nerf. 90 % is just clipping through the platform. I would also like this mod to work with romhack like star road like yoshi.

Yeah, this is a pretty good mod, sometimes the bosses are boring with their lack of difficulty, this mod fixes it totally, 5 more stars for you.

excelent mod, my firend and had a blast fighting these bosses and also discovering some of the easter eggs, I wish there were more mods like this.

This is a fantastic mod and a great way to feel like you're playing Mario 64 for the first time again. I had so much fun figuring out the bosses weaknesses and patterns and laughing with friends about their insane new moves. The secret inclusions are a great touch and I love the inclusion of the pre-boss music from the DS version. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to freshen up their SM64 experience a bit.
