Sonic Character: Rebooted v1.2.4.1

A bug I found that may or may not be related to the current broken script error message at the top is when Sonic tries to grab Bowser when he isn't directly on top of the tail, he'll spindash ever so slightly into the air from the ground as if he jumped and did an aerial spin dash forward (without ever pressing jump, to be clear). This prevents the tail from being grabbed for the rest of the fight, and you have to reset the fight via death. In the video, I grab with Mario to show it works, then grab with Sonic right on top of his tail to show that he can grab it too. I then spin dash towards Bowser's tail from a further distance twice (I fail the first time, then do it correctly the second time at the 27 second mark). After this, his tail cannot be grabbed by any character for the rest of the fight. If I'm just an idiot or made a mistake, please just let me know since I only started playing sm64coopdx the other day. Pretty sure this is related to this mod though from the testing I did though.
 
I haven't been able to use the mod what so ever because I always get an error and I am getting this error for the current version and 1.3
 
Not sure if this is the right place, but I've found out something about both this mod and character select.

It seems that using character select with SCR messes with base character voices as well as custom characters that use those voices. For example: If you select Mario through the player menu then select Luigi or Mr. L from Super Paper Villians through CS, He will end up using Mario's voice. It's even more apparent when character movesets or render96 voices is enabled.

Also, v1.3.1 still breaks this mod. Incredible.

I agree this happened to me too. I tried a fresh install and tested each of my previous mods one by one. The only time the problem persists is when "Sonic Character: Rebooted" is on.
 
I've been getting a consistent crash when approaching the Snowman's Land Mirror room as either Sonic or Amy as of 1.3.2. I can play the level with them just fine but when I enter it, either from the castle or the level, it crashes. I presume it has something to do with some code regarding the reflection or something since other base + /char-select characters work fine. I've attached a screenshot of the crash screen below:

They should make it so there is a option to make the drowning sound effect be replaced with the sonic 1 drowning theme and have an option to swap between the original sound from the genesis or this one
 
Y'all, don't expect any updates until at least the middle of July or somethin' because I got exams 'n bullshit.
 
has the bug that causes Amy's voice lines to blow out the speakers of mac players been fixed? i've been avoiding any games using this mod purely because it sounds like Amy is legit damaging my speakers.

I don't think I can even fix it because I don't have a Mac.

Yer download must be corrupted or somethin'.
 
Un error que encontré, que puede estar relacionado con el mensaje de error del script roto que aparece arriba, es que cuando Sonic intenta agarrar a Bowser cuando no está justo encima de la cola, se lanza con un ligero giro desde el suelo como si saltara y realizara un giro hacia adelante (sin siquiera pulsar el botón de salto, para que quede claro). Esto impide que le agarren la cola durante el resto del combate, y hay que reiniciar el combate muriendo. En el vídeo, me agarro con Mario para demostrar que funciona, y luego me agarro con Sonic justo encima de su cola para demostrar que él también puede. Luego, me lanzo con un giro hacia la cola de Bowser desde más lejos dos veces (fallo la primera vez, pero lo hago correctamente la segunda a los 27 segundos). Después, ningún personaje puede agarrarle la cola durante el resto del combate. Si soy un idiota o he cometido un error, por favor, avísenme, ya que empecé a jugar a sm64coopdx el otro día. Aunque estoy bastante seguro de que esto está relacionado con este mod por las pruebas que hice.
Qe tipo de persona haría esa combinación tan loca como para provocar eso xd

i thought i was the only one experiencing this because while i was playing with a friend i got a crash and even though they were playing amy they also crashed for some reason i hope the mod creator fixes this
 
Outta curiosity, has the scripting issue this mod has with the more recent versions of the game been fixed?

That's been an issue for a while now, it's also causing a bug when using both character select and character movesets where all characters (execpt sonic and amy) share Mario's moveset

Does the creator still update this mod? This is the only reason why I don't use this mod.
