This mod ports the vanilla SM64 title screen into SM64 CoopDX. Includes the title screen on start up and game over screen on game over.

Mario's title screen head is recolorable, but it's actually a built-in function to the game, surprisingly, so I didn't do any code to that part.

Until I fix the zero lives issue, please download this mod on Gamebanana, the zero lives part was supposed to be for testing, but I couldn't update it to delete it yet, so please wait before downloading on the SM64 CoopDX site or download on Gamebanana. Thank you.

First thing, redownload the mod if you downloaded it from SM64 CoopDX site instead of Gamebanana. I just fixed the SM64 CoopDX site version to remove starting you with zero lives, but I don't know if that'll do anything but start you with the correct number of lives, so it probably won't fix your stars.

Second thing, disable all mods but the "SM64 Title Screen" mod and start a new save file. What happen to the amount of stars you have upon going past the title screen? If you go on a keep playing and progress through the game, what happens?

So far it was 34 but it later got changed to 121 (idk how the game added 1 star to the game

SomeRandomDude updated Vanilla SM64 Title Screen with a new update entry:

Minimal Changes

There was a couple changes that were made:

• quality_of_life in the script was changed to on_mario_update
• Number of Mario's health and lives changing are no longer included in the script due to it being unneeded and automatically gets reset by CoopDX anyways
