D-boy submitted a new mod:

TimeToDie - Hurry, hurry!

Slowly running out of life, now you can share this experience with Mario and pals! Every minute removes 1 life, run out of lives and its game over for you and your save. (WARNING: This will delete your save data if you get a Game Over, so be careful.) This mod works with most others (or at least it should).

I'm assuming that getting your lives back is mainly through 1ups? I'm thinking you could totally gamify this more by letting players do different things to get more time, like stars and keys. Its a cool idea.

Yes, whilst you do need to collect more 1ups for time, whether that be through actual mushrooms or 50 coins, I did think about including stars. However I decided on not making them give you 1ups for 3 reasons:
1. When I play tested, only using 1ups is a much harder challenge since your time is normally around 2 to 4 mins so adding stars would probably make it too easy
2.I have no idea how to code that
3.I never tested multiplayer ( i forgot to) so I'm not too sure if it even works

I will most likely uthough this mod in the future though, thanks for the support.
