Hey man I would like ( I don't say I want ) the same mod but with SNES ( All-Star ) textures and musics! Thank you if you do that! Otherwise the mod is incredible ( just the controls are hard to take :( ) !

EmilyEmmi updated So Retro! with a new update entry:

v2.0: One-Year (late) Anniversary! MASSIVE UPDATE!

In case you missed it last year (since I presented it as a shoddy rom hack), this is a port of Super Mario Bros. to sm64coopdx, with the goal of being a decently-accurate port. This HUGE update brings tons of new features, including widescreen support, new server options, and even a new port of Lost Levels! Here are the biggest new features:

EmilyEmmi updated So Retro! with a new update entry:

Do you plan on extending this to include other old school Mario games or even recreate rom hacks? Would be awesome to see

I was following the custom character creation instructions, but I'm stuck at the part where you have to place the character folder into the modFs. Is there a certain way to do this? Because I see the modFs, but I don't see a .zip or any way to put it inside.

It’s a .modfs file, not a .zip. You have to rename the .modfs to a .zip, put the folder inside, and rename it to .modfs again. It’s a bit tricky.

About the example char, it's telling me to access a non-existent app data directory. And I don't have a modfs file

The in-game instructions for accessing it don’t work? Its Options -> Misc -> Open Appdata in the menu.

I like this mod so much but i also saw about the example char i was wondering is it for custom characters (if it was i could have put gba SMB mario lol) so uhh yeah peak mod!
