If I change PCs with the same Microsoft account, or if I switch my PC to Linux, will I lose all my sm64coopdx data? Like personal stars, and my rank in Flood expanded.

yes because its a different pc and Microsoft has nothing to with sm64coopdx
but don't worry, if you want your whole sm64coopdx to be transferred, you get the sm64coopdx folder inside Appdata and place it in Roaming replacing the folder

even if im switching to linux tomorrow? (cuz my pc is kinda buggy)

Can you tell me what I need to do step by step so I can recover all my data please, I'm planning to switch to Linux, I know it will delete my entire hard drive but I'm going to put my important stuff on a USB key.

I haven't used Linux in a very long time so there could be some file incompatibilities I'm not aware of, but if you don't know how to find the folder (Appdata is hidden in Windows by default, personally I kinda get annoyed whenever I have to go to it for anything) you can start up sm64coopdx, then click "options" >> "misc" >> "Open appdata" to pop the folder right open. From there, you probably want to go up one level to your roaming folder, then copy your sm64coopdx folder to your USB drive. Then just paste it into roaming on your new OS.
