Roll The Dice! v2.0 - You still haven't asked for it, and now it's back!

Roll The Dice! v2.0 is a revamp of my original RTD mod. This major update brings a series of quality-of-life improvements, new features, fully sync'd events and sounds, and all sorts of exciting madness!
  • Press Dpad+Up to "Roll The Dice" for a random buff, de-buff, or event!
  • Enable "Auto-rolling" in the Mod Menu to force players to roll every 15 seconds!
  • 36 main events with some events having their own randomized sub-events!
  • Combine this mod with other game-modes...

Hm... this is a fun concept. But, I feel like there should be some control of what events happen on the host's end.

The "throwing your cap in rage" one gives me bad flashbacks of Skyrim, and the Disarm shout.... Your cap can go through a wall, and never be recovered. So, you're permanently handicapped for the rest of the playthrough if this happens.

I feel either the distance the hat goes flying shouldn't be as volatile. Or, make the cap come back after the effect wears off.
Either way.... It's a pretty bad feeling. It's one thing to explode, it's another to have a perma-defense debuff.
 
When I got the Sonic Rings event, I was surprised there wasn't a mod that changed the coins into rings, could you make that in the future?
I taught someone how to mod a while back and made these rings for them to use in place of coins... I think they released some kind of Dynos with them, but you'd have to look it up or ask. His name was SonicPrimus. If he doesn't have anything, it'd be a great opportunity to learn lua and make your own first mod. I can send you the ring model I made.

There is a lot more that could be made for this mod. Could make a menu that controls all the random events, but it's a lot of work and sadly a lot of time that I don't have :(

RTD V1 was the first mod I ever made, so the code is a disgusting sloppy mess. Updating it to 2.0 was a much needed upgrade but still not a complete coding overhaul to support features like what you'd want.

Blocky.cmd had made really good progress on a highly advanced and very well re-made version of RTD 2.0, but he's been super busy and only got around half-way done with it. If you've got the time and interest I can send you the Lua and you'd be welcome to pick it up where he left off.
