Pro Controller!! Help!

Hii! Im new to all of this and i wanted to ask if anyone knows any way to play using a pro controller, thanks in advance for any tips or adivce :>

add sm64coopdx to steam and turn on steam input and then it should work (you can aslo use the nintendo button layout)
theres one problem and its that you can randomly get a drift but you fix it by spining the sticks until theres no drift

OR connect it via blue tooth andd it sould work
