he is meant to recreate sonic adventure 1's movement, and i think slowing down midair actually helps and is accurate to sa1 because this is a mario game. i do wish the homing attack didnt carry your momentum, like in sonic adventure.
also, come on. stop nitpicking about sonic being in his classic design. its because he was classic sonic in 1996 and in very late 1998 his design got changed to the adventure design. you got a GOOD sonic mod, now be grateful for it. you could scroll up and see that i linked an addon to this mod that changes sonic to his adventure design. go play that.

I know the difference between classic and modern sonic designs.
I was saying I always preferred his older look in Adventure onward.

Sonic adventure sonic has some decent mid air control still that this could use.
