I can't join any server

So I've been playing this game for 4 months, but until now I can't join any server, when I try to join it just stays in the joining screen forever, so is there a way to fix this? I'm on android btw

it takes a really long time to join because it's receiving and downloading mods. the more mods in the server you are trying to join, the longer it will take. also, don't use data because when I tried joining a server via data, it would take a long time or wouldn't even load at all. im not really technical, so if im wrong, feel free to correct me. nevermind i think its a server problem
