So basically i cant find the cheats mod that lets you moon jump, blj anywhere, super speed, yall know what im saying and i just cannot find this shit anywhere, not even on this site. i tried asking a friend and they said that it should be preinstalled into the game but i cant find it. please help!

It is pre-installed into the game. So unless you deleted it, you should see it in your mods folder. If you don't have it, you can find it on the sm64coopdx GitHub: (GitHub - coop-deluxe/sm64coopdx: An official continuation of https://github.com/djoslin0/sm64ex-coop on sm64coopdx for the enhancements and progress it already has.). You can enable it by doing "/cheats" or by going to the mod menu.

I have, but the problem is the fact that the cheats mod isn't even in the game. I looked in the folders and in the game and it's not in either one. Heck, it wasn't in when I downloaded the game in.
The cheats mod, the default hide and seek, and faster swimming no longer appear in mod options. This isn't people being stupid. The recent update's mac version is broken. You can keep saying it's built in, but it's impossible to activate it if it doesn't appear in the mod list when you go to host.
We are reading your message paradox, we are simply telling you there is a problem. Something is broken with the recent update. Would help if our problem was being listened to instead of dismissed. Especially when you ask if we read your reply. The problem is, your reply doesn't solve the problem. Might help if you didn't assume the issue was down to player-stupidity.
I found out what happened thanks to Agent X. They said changes were made for paths to better support unicode iirc, and those changes messed something up with reading resources from the app. i am guessing you are on Mac too since it seems to be only affecting mac users. So heres the fix. Right click the app, show package contents, then resources. then look in there for the mods folder.
Then you will have to copy and paste everything inside it into your regular mods folder. After that it should work. Hope this fixed it for you, because the "solution" offered by Paradox doesn't address the issue.
The problem is that the mods in the app itself don't transfer to your actual mod folder. The mac version of the program is broken. Simply reinstalling/redownloading doesn't do anything different. You have to do it the way i said or you just won't be able to use the cheats mod. Or faster swimming. Or character select. Or any of the default included romhacks. Or really any of the mods that come as standard, because they refuse to carry over automatically. You have to do it manually. There is another update coming on the 10th, and Agent X says the issue should be fixed by then.
In the meantime, i hope this worked for you.

I didn't see this until now. I don't use Mac, so I wouldn't know if it had any problems. No one here even mentioned them using a Mac. Plus, you can't say I was ignoring the users, I literally provided them with another way on how to obtain the mods if they still couldn't find it. The GitHub link has all the built in mods ready to be downloaded, that's why I sent it.
Tldr: I wasn't ignoring/dismissing their problems, my solution would've worked perfectly if it was actually being listened to.
