Fast 64 Texture and Vertices problem, any way to fix this OTHER then remaking my entire model?

(Sorry, hopefully this will be the last time I post this question, I didn't realize doing small edits to fix grammar and such would send my post to the moderation void >_<)

I'm at my wits end with this, I couldn't find any information and the best i COULD find why basically just "Welp, nothing can be done."

I've been modeling a character in blender to put into SM64Coop as me and my friends have been having a blast with it and I wanted a character that hasn't been put in yet right? Well i got the model done and then after getting everything rigged up and ready to go...I got hit with "Error: Large texture material Open Eyes (SKIN) has a face that needs to cover texals 214 - 297 x 63 - 102 (84 x 40 texals) in format RGBA16, which can't fit in TMEM." Mind you, I've followed three different guides to the T at this point and even though they have large textures they never get any errors like mine? On top of this, the one time it didn't give me a texture error, it gave me a error of too many vertices on certain bones??? (limit 30-40 per bone or somethinglike that?) which makes no sense to me as I've seen several mods DEFINITELY break that limit with no issues.

If anybody can help me out that would be phenomenal, I've spent so many hours with no progress at all...😞

Update: I was able to figure out how to fix the issues.
The texture problem was fixed by making them 128 x 128 and making sure Large Texture is OFF.
The bone issue was ONLY on the forearm bones, and was easily fixed by just messing with the model a bit til I got rid of enough vertices.

Unfortunately, now there's a whole new problem! No matter what I do after exporting my model, it just gives me an error model in game. I tried doing the reverse of the model export method just to see if my model would AT LEAST load in-game without the bones/armature attached…AND IT DOES…but that still doesn't answer the question of why does it give an error with the armature attached????
