I think I remember stumbling upon something like that in a random public lobby once, but I can't seem to find anything about it now.

I'm asking because I think it would be quite the simple but useful utility option for certain playthroughs.

i need this, make it unlock for specific people though, and lock it for like the rest of the lobby basically
