does the game now lag ingame if you have too many cs mods on?

i just updated coop deluxe today and for some reason when i host a server it lags
im not sure whats causing this but it might be the fact that i have almost 250 cs mods on-
if thats the reason why why is it happening in this lastest version of the game..
i remember very well that this wasnt happening in the last version i had (1.2.1) with the same amount of mods i have now

i heard they are re working the model system but tbh having over 250 will lag a bit due to lua engine in coop overflowing with memory
the new ver crashes when on disconnect sometimes involving with models and such

i asked my friend a few months ago when i had an older version if having 250 cs mods was too much and they just said no

wild, cuz it is a lot, i wouldnt imagine the players using 90% of the characters that are in
