Does anyone know how to make a mod that connects to an app? Update owokitty and drenchy told me that it is done with mod storage files.

So im trying to make a mod that connects to another app, like the limbo kongs voice chat thats all i can really think of. now i need help with MAKING the mod storage file(s)

That one is implemented by writing a lot of variables like player position into the mod storage file and then the external app detects your mario folder and reads the mod storage file.
