controller drift

For some reason, whenever I play sm64 dx coop and dx coop ONLY, I have controller drift! I've tried changing deadzone, switching controllers, etc. When I had sm64 ex coop my controller did not drift, please help. (Btw I got dx today and just switched from ex)

Yeah ive got this too, Usually pushing the stick in the drifting position then back fixes it.
