Compile without assets

Can we compile coopdx first, leaving out the assets, and then add them later? This could help make a flatpak version for Linux.
 

As seen in the llink above in the merger, dj added this feature, which means what you want will be in coopdx v1.0, so ye :].
 
BUT, it won't be a flatpak. It'll just be an executable like how Ship of Harkinian does it. Now if someone wanted to make it into a flatpak, I guess no one is stopping them.

Is that change in the sm64coopdx repository or the older one?
 
im doing it here i'm about halfway. i have made more progress since the last code file I posted there, but I have been posting it in large, standalone chunks as each part becomes usable. anyone can test that if they feel like and you could tell me if it works on your computer as it does on mine (the extract_assets.cpp), and after a while I will probably complete the 2nd half and post it also.
