Hello, I am writing to formally appeal my ban from CoopNet. I am posting here to sincerely apologize and ask for a second chance to rejoin the community.
The reason that i was banned was for having an inappropriate tag name (in spanish) when joining a public server.
I want to be completely honest about what happened. A few years ago, I was playing on a private server with some friends. As a joke, they told me to change my tag to a specific word and at the time, I did not fully understand the heavy or harmful meaning behind that word.
When we finished playing, I forgot to change my tag back to normal. The following week, I joined a public server without realizing that the offensive name was still active, which got me banned from the server.
I have thoroughly re-read the COOPDX Mod Site Rules, specifically the section regarding bigoted and harmful language. I now completely understand why this rule is strictly enforced to protect the community. It was never my intention to cause harm, bypass your rules, or make anyone feel uncomfortable. I take full responsibility for my carelessness in not checking my username before joining a public lobby.
If I am given a second chance, I promise to immediately reset my tag to a completely safe name and ensure that my behavior strictly aligns with the kind and constructive culture of this project.
