As of v1.0, the only thing really bringing Astra down is [70-star door]: it's a repetitive eyesore, the music will drive you mad with how much time you spend in here, the "percussion(?)" is gross, and I have no idea why this thing generally deviates so much from everything else... My advice until something changes? Clear that thing as fast as possible if you're going for completion, with a guide if you want less struggle.
That being said, everything else *is* wonderful. Astra is a beautiful and relaxing, yet casually challenging ROM hack that I would recommend to anyone (other than [70-star door]).
