This mod adds a fully featured day & night cycle system with night, sunrise, day and sunset to sm64coopdx. This mod was originally made for sm64ex-coop but was overhauled and updated to use new sm64coopdx exclusive Lua functionality. Days last 24 minutes and you can switch to and from 24 hour time with /time 24h

Excellent mod, but still has some issues, In bowser levels or lethal lava land the cycle doesen't work, same is with rain-thunderstorm cycle in Bowser in the dark world. Can you fix this?

I interpreted those levels as ones that wouldn't realistically have a day or weather cycle. LLL seems to be in Hell and BITDW looks to be a massive cave judging by the skybox. Although BITS I could allow it to rain there since I think it would look pretty

Just recently discovered this whole Co-Op project and am just bewildered by all the crazy stuff it's capable of, including this.
Absolutely incredible mod, a visual marvel that I'm really excited to hopefully introduce a friend to this game with! I have only one small issue, and that's with being unable to remove the clock from the HUD (as far as I'm aware.)
Would love a togglable setting for it.
Also, an option to toggle having the cycle follow real world time would be cool imo, if possible.

hello, this mod is really good but i have a problem, when I put the mod in the sm64coopdx mods folder and open the game, it doesn't let me choose it in the mod selection. Can you help me with that problem?

A long time ago, Day Night Cycle was a really limited mod, but im happy to say that this has changed! thanks to CoOp Dx's new features, we can finally have day and night cycles like god intended! All i'd suggest is a way to save the host's settings.

Day Night Cycle DX is a wondeful improvement upon the original Day Night Cycle for ex-coop that takes great advantage of the new Lua functions provided in CoopDX. DNC was pretty nice, but DNC DX is absolutely gorgeous. There's really not else much that can be said, this mod is just really freakin' cool.
