1. Ness: An average 12 year-old with psychic powers, who left his hometown, Onett, after meeting a hero from a ruined future. the first out of the chosen four from Mother 2​

1. Lucas: A timid and nervous teen, who lost his mother and brother, Claus, at a young age. Protagonist of Mother 3.​
