Moveset Details

The power of flight! Martlet can fly without the need of a Wing Cap by pressing A in midair during a Triple Jump (or, of course, by using a cannon), but watch your Stamina Meter!
- She gets five seconds of flight time without the Cap, and afterwards she starts falling like a... well, if you know, you know. Touching the ground, splashing into deep water, or using a cannon will fully restore Stamina, and grabbing onto a pole in midair restores one second!
- Pitching down won't speed you up much, and pitching up is... not recommended.
- If you have some Stamina left, dive during a midair Ground Pound by pressing B. At the cost of one second, you can trigger flight again! Use this to get extra height or reach, or to easily change directions! Also, press A during any dive to trigger flight as well!
- Triple Jump out of Ground Pounds by pressing A upon landing.
Martlet can fly ANYWHERE with the Wing Cap! Forget about air traffic control, no-fly zones, and Stamina Meters, the sky is YOURS!Pitch up as high as you want! Pitch down to go as fast as you want! This bird's gotta fly!
- Be sure to follow safety protocol by pressing A to brake when necessary!
- You'll keep flying if the Wing Cap wears off, but you'll have only three seconds of Stamina left. Get to a safe place to land!
Rumor has it that someone who shares vague similarities to Martlet may grant her something a bit better this time.
