Was following a video guide for character modding and they got to the section where you would formally use the “Geolayout Exporter” tab to create the folder necessary to get the model into the game.

I recently learned that this function was replaced with the “Combined Exporter” in the latest version of Fast64-Gart. I’ve tried looking everywhere I can but there doesn’t seem to be an explanation as to how to use it.

I'm not super familiar with blender or sm64 modding, so if I’m doing something wrong please tell me. How exactly do you use the Combined Exporter?

having similar issues. Cant find any tutorial walking you through how it works. managed to do it one time with a help of a friend. But I feel I have done the exact same way and now doesn't work.

I did actually. Apparently if youre usuing a coop template, you need to change the metal wing textures to regular wings, otherwise it wont load
Thank you for the reply! Glad you got that fixed. I had already done this and unfortunately for me it's still showing up as the armature in-game. I appreciate the help though

I'm also having the same issue, I've tried everything from every forum post and video I could find, nothing works for me either. The model is always the bones and a _geo.bin isn't generated

I'm stuck on the latest fast64 gart version from a few days ago since you can't get any others, and I've tried between blender 4.2 which was used in the most recent tutorial all the way to the latest 4.4.3. All have the same bones problem, same no _geo.bin

I even tried just opening the template, only changing the metal wing textures so it exports with no other changes, and same bones problem, same no _geo.bin

I'm convinced it's currently broken
