How to edit SM64 Save

I am wondering how i can edit my save data, so i can have one save for progression, and the other (100% one) for messing around. I already have a save editor on hand, i just cant find the save file.

I'm pretty sure it's a proprietary format, but it's in the AppData folder- you can access it by going into settings, there'll be something mentioning it.
Alternatively, you can use Beard's Mod and spawn in a bunch of stars using "/bmod spawn star".

It's in the sm64coopdx/SM64ex-Coop folder in %appdata%, but I can't help you with the save editor
