A question about posting a edited version of a mod

[selfdestruction13]

I have been toying around with the Eureka mod and made me start to edit the port.
Could i, if i finish that work, be able to post a thread on that modification for people of want to play with those changes?
And which section of the forums should i post to?

modified versions of existing mods arent allowed at all here (unless it's with permission, i think)
