A rank is the second best ending! You can get the best rank, W rank, at 12000 coins; you'll need to collect each gem to get that many, as the gems provide a multiplier (2.6 total) at the end. Without accounting for the multiplier, you need about 4616 coins and all gems to get the best ending.
This is roughly the amount most of my playtests got when they went for 120 star runs, so the best ending should more or less coincide with a 120-star run, so long as you're dedicated to grabbing coins.
I should add that this amount is automatically lowered from 12000 to about 4600 if you're playing a rom hack that doesn't have any gem compatibility!

Go into the mods folder of your installation and just delete it. The entire folder for the old version. Then place the new folder. Pretty easy.
It won't. Just make sure to ONLY delete the old character select mod folder and nothing else. Then just drag and drop the new version's folder into the mod directory. And I mean the folder itself, not its contents. Just drop the entire folder in there as it is.
This is absolute cinema, the sholder bash is goated, the booty slam is peak, you can just hit bowser, the end screen is How much coins you got and you can chose 5 Warios, ech one representing an era for the wah.

i remember watching a video of a fan made prototype of wario land 64 13 years ago and to this day i've wanted to play a real wario land 64, this is awesome, now we just need a romhack and we would have wario land 64 for real

I'm aware of camera issues! I've tested this mod using free cam enabled, and forgot about standard cam, so it slipped under the radar. The next minor update will have fixed the camera.
This might sound dumb but is there any way you could drop a mod that is just a simple character select with these animations? These models are really good and would be cool to use in normal play as well.

Also small nitpick/request but if you somehow make it so the nose is colorable or something on the Wario skins where it isn't pink by default that'd be great because it just feels cursed for Wario to not have his pink nose to me. lol. It's the only thing that prevents me from using those models personally. (My go to is the Shake It model.)
EDIT: Actually I figured it out you could just do a secondary variation of the model with the pink nose like how some mods do. That'd be neat.
