Hello, I'm new here, and I need help solving an issue I'm facing.

Basically, I tried to update the Coop Deluxe files to version 1.1.1, but something went wrong. When I try to open “sm64coopdx.exe”, a window flashes really quickly before disappearing. It happens so fast that I couldn't capture a screenshot, but I did notice a black screen, and the root folder path of the game was displayed in the window.

I've tried everything, including running the program in administrator mode. I even downloaded both the SM64 Coop DX OpenGL and DirectX versions, but neither works.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? :(

(Sorry if my explanation is unclear, I'm using a translator.)

Saving configuration to 'sm64config-backup.txt'
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::filesystem::__cxx11::filesystem_error'
what(): filesystem error: Cannot convert character sequence: Illegal byte sequence
Does your windows username have any non-alphanumeric characters in it? If so, you will need to do this
Open the game through the terminal with the --console launch param and send the output here
