Sonic characters pack

I've downloaded the mod for the Sonic pack "Sonic Character: Rebooted v1.2"
I've enabled Character select and the Sonic mod, but he doesn't show up in the Character selection menu. Does anyone know why this might be?

that doesnt sound like a cs mod, though idk if that mod supports changing characters easily
you can be sonic and amy by switching characters in game inside Player like how you would switch normally
