Does the game only run off auto saves after collecting stars or is there a way to save I cant find in game manually?
How do you save the game??

The main reason I ask is because if I host, then play around in a level, collecting coins but dont get a star to get the save game pop up and then stop hosting, my game goes back to when I starteed hosting, no save data update
