I do have that mod turned on but the characters i put in the mods folder inst there.

make sure its just one cs folder with all the files inside and it should work turning on cs and the other cs mods
am i able to put the CS mod folder into the char select folder or do i have to move the files for the mod out of the original folder?

i do know how to install mods, just for some reason what ever i do it wont let me select the characters. i have tried putting to CS mod files in the folder for the character select mod but it still wont show them when i turn on character select.
yeah your not supposed to move any files out of folders, its literally just a normal mod going in the mods folder and you turn on cs char and char select
i don't know why it wont work then? is there some setting i might have turned on in coop dx that makes them not work?
any setting wont mess with character select
just to say, I have mine working and I have character select, and cs triple baka, they are two separate mods in mods folder and I turn on those two mods in game
also another thing I realized, you can check your C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\sm64coopdx\mods to make sure you dont have any duped mods inside the other mods folder since it can be weird

If that doesn't work, you need to manually put the Lua file (or unzipped folder) in one of the following folders:
Temporary: (game directory)/mods/Temporary means that everything will be deleted when you recompile/update the game.

yeah but hold on, I think I know how to fix your problem now since I took a look at this mod just now
so there is four folders called [CS] Kris, [CS] Kris (Light World), [CS] Ralsei, and [CS] Susie
I want you to put those four folders in mods and ignore the Fun Gang Coop DX folder
any type of folder you see that has [CS] in it, is just one mod
