Hi everyone I'm brand new to this just randomly found it looking on the web so i wanted to add these mods that allow Bowser, Birdo and the paper Mario partners to be in the select character menu, but when i add all the files only Bowser Jr appears and he sounds like Mario, I'm not sure where i should be dropping all the files and if i should let files overwrite each other. the folders i have are char-select-coop, char-select-cjes-and-vl, and char-select-extra-chars. basically is there an easy way to just drag on dop and have all these work together? thank you!

EDIT, I'm asking for help, perhaps step by step instructions. pleassseee

my solution is if you already have a "Main.lua" once importing all the other characters files name the mod's "Main.lua" "main2.lua" or "main3.lua" etc.

Did you install the mod "character select" first?

I think once you do that, you can just drag and drop things onto the window if you don't mind them being in your appdata folder. If you want them in the easier to navigate to game folder, they go in "mods," and then each mod goes in their own folder, ONE folder deep.

This actually trips me up occasionally, most mods nowadays are in a folder inside of their zip folder (so you just unzip into your mods folder," but sometimes there won't be that extra folder, in which case you want to extract them into a folder in the mods folder yourself.

There should be no need to merge or overwrite files for the simple "I want a bunch of characters in character select at once" use case.
