Having an issue with Big Boo's Haunt

I'm having an issue with Big Boo's Haunt, for some reason whenever I enter the level, I either get a bugged version with broken collision, an unloaded version where I fall down into invisible water, or I just die instantly when I load in

I tried looking up to no real help, I saw a thing about a few mod characters that could break it and I removed them but it's still broken

I then tried fully wiping the game and reinstalling it and added the characters I had in minus the ones that were known to break it and it's still broken

is there any way to directly fix it, or is there a full list of characters that break it, cuz I really wanna do a playthrough with a friend that never really played it before but Big Boo's Haunt being broken makes 100% impossible

if anyone can help, please respond asap

I've personally never had the bug with BBH, but I've seen people report it in the discord. Not sure if/how they fixed it though.

I've also started experiencing this today.

(Edit: Just restarted the whole game and it worked, not gonna question it but maybe the same can be for yours?.)
