Day-Night Cycle DX not using 2.2.1 version even though it's downloaded

I've downloaded the 2.2.1 version of the Day-Night Cycle mod to use the Weather Cycle mod but even though the file itself says v2.2.1the mod selection still says v2.0.1. in the mods & gamemodes tab restricting me from using the Weather Cycle mod. Is there any way I can fix this? Thanks in advance.
