fact about this mod that i didn't explain anywhere else: when you get a power up cap in the air, there's 1 frame after the animation where you can jump mid-air. this is a reference to smb1 because you can do that in smb1

Snoobertski updated Daredevil [CS] with a new update entry:

immediate patch update a day after releasing it because its like really REALLY broken

fixed the infinite coin spawning bug with the wooden poles
you can now beat bowser and kill boos in demon king form
made the power meter not show during the ending scene
gave demon king a custom star dance animation since you don't lose your power up when you collect a star if "stay in level" is on

i have a suggestion.
how about when the skybox changes when you torch enough stuff the final bowser music starts playing? or maybe daredevil's CS music?

So...am I the only one who initially thought this was going to be Daredevil, the Marvel Comics superhero?

Not really able to make a follow up to my review since I dont want to weigh the ratings more on accident so ig I can say here that I find it a bit annoying that you cannot disable the character's moveset without utterly breaking his ability to use caps. Maybe I just have a unique bug, but I can't use any of the caps regular powers with the movesets off, which really bites when romhacks are designed around these things, or in some cases when Demon King lacks the properties to interact with custom objects. For example, Ultra Mario 64 has a gimmick where Metal Mario is needed to bash open black brick blocks, while Demon King has an attack in the form of the ground pound, this does not register on these specific objects unlike regular Metal Mario. If I could simply use the metal cap as it usually goes I would be sitting pretty but it does not work. This quirk does bump down my initial stance on the release a bit if I'm being honest, I would like to play with the character in situations which would require the nuances given by the caps as they are in vanilla. A fix for this would be appreciated
