Camera inverted

I use a gamecube controller with an adapter, and normally I use a third party controller emulation program with co-op. But, SM64DX will not recognize the program as a controller, and it will actually let me use the GCN controller by itself without the program, which would be a good thing. But, for some reason the camera controls are stuck inverted on the Y axis. Not even turning on and off the setting does anything. The X axis works perfectly fine. Also works normally with xbox controller.

Ok then, probably something with the controller. To make the program work, go to settings > controller and change the gamepad from 0 to 1 (or whatever number the gamepad is). That'll make the program work with the game.

The program isn't working at all with the game. 0-6 does nothing, even with the program enabled. 7 is the GCN wothout the program. And 8 and 9 do nothing as well.

Ah yeah, I know what that is. But I've never had to use it before. So I can't really say I know how to use it. The easiest option would be to just use steam input, have you tried that?

Steam doesn't seem to be working with the game either. I could be doing it wrong, but I'm not sure. Any other suggestions for controller translations?

Finally got it to work, gonna leave the solution here just in case anyone else has the issue. (This is to get it to work with the x360ce software)
Open x360ce > Options > HID Guardian > Install HID Guardian.
after that go to: Devices > find whatever controller you use and tick the "hide" box on the right.
