It seems that sometimes, usually in certain maps of romhacks, that when playing with a character with a custom metal texture through character select, grabbing a metal cap will change the texture of all of the stage's geometry into the character's custom metal texture, and only fix themselves...

When I try to play this with or without any other mods on sm64coopDX, I always crash for some reason. I'm playing on a steam deck, running the steamOS version of coopDX, if that would help.

it definitely is an issue with omm, as it only occurs with it enabled. I just don't know why

I wonder, will there be an option or something to have metal mario go into his walking animation when at the bottom of the water, so he doesn't awkwardly over just above the bottom and make it look like you won't be able to press switches while metal?
