Yes, if you have the DirectX build of the game: don't use DirectX, use the OpenGL build of coopdx.

The funny thing is that i use the base game koopa shell, albeit modified to allow player colors. You should report that to Sonic rebooted, not my mod.

Mod compatibility with sonic rebooted is not something i can fix. Sound issues have been fixed, i've been busy with other stuff so i can't update right now. (working on adding features at the same time)

Don't use ex-coop anymore, it is obsolete. Coopdx is the official update to excoop.
