pressing pause causes the pause overlay to show up but the game keeps playing, also the camera doesnt pan out when paused like it should, i changed all the options i could find and yet nothing, any help?

I’ve found that disabling most mods (for me it was character select mod) makes the game actually pause. However yes, the camera doesn’t pan out. I wish it would, that’s how I snoop for red coins haha.
Excuse me but did you ever figure this out because I'm on the lastest version with the latest ver of char select and I still can't pause.
