Fishing DX v1.2

CrypticTM submitted a new mod:

Fishing DX - Adding the ability to fish in SM64! Now you can go catch some fish with your friends!

You can fish in Super Mario 64 now!
Stand by any water, hold L to aim, let go to cast, and mash A when something bites. B cancels or opens a shop if you're standing next to one.
There's a whole set of 30+ different fish to catch, from basic Cheep Cheeps up to rares that only show up in certain stages. Some are locked to Cool Cool Mountain, Peach's Slide, or Lava Land. One of them is a VOID fish that starts rotting in your inventory if you don't sell it fast...

Hi there and welcome to sm64coopdx I see you're new. You can find bait in the bait shops, there will be a small patch before Friday allowing players to fish without bait but it will only provide the lower tier of fish and won't be easy to catch with no bait. This has been discussed as being more fair for starting out. You should gain 8 bait on start up, if this doesn't happen its a bug that needs patched.

Also work being made on the boat textures and adding a new fishing spot in JRB! So there will be three boats in total in the mod!

Added the ability to fish without bait!
It's been heard loud and clear and it was an awkward oversight on my part
Added a boat location for JRB, you will see a semi-sinking ship there now
Added a shop location to RR
Added fish sprites for hollowfin catches
Adjusted the text size and color for better readability (Fishing guide)
Lowered the triangles on the boat to optimize performance in DDD
Fixed luigi's position, he no longer sits inside the ground
Fixed the collision...
