Just what I needed!
After the release of Super Mario Land 2 in late 1992, 2d Mario entered a dry spell due to the release of a little game called Super Mario 64. However, people often forget that a few 2D Mario games WERE released before New Super Mario Bros. in 2006- they just weren't fully original. The games in question were the Super Mario Advance series of games, which were remakes of Mario 2, World, 3, and Yoshi's Island oddly enough. The characters in those games were very talkative, and the voice lines have a unique charm that you can now experience in Coop DX.
