Most of the levels are direct edits of the old models or full re-imagines of the levels from SR1. The levels itself are held to classic style.
Versions 2.1 and 2.2 each replace some of the existing levels with even more updated versions, so there will be sometimes a drop in quality, considering not all levels have been given a touch-up yet.
Story: Mario finds himself at the edge of the Mushroom Kingdom, which has been overran by mysterious blue stars.
