great mod overall but you could add some custom music (I recommend mario kart music) and also a chat message that tells the player to press Z to spawn a shell (or maybe just do it automatically)
also some levels (like TTM and CCM) don't fit well for a race due to how they are built

great mod, remember when it first came out. One of the crazier Lua mods back then.

Sorry but needs abit more polished like you should have it choose a level randomly and also not all levels are good with shells such as CCM cause of how neat it is and you should also have a toggle to turn off and on the shell cause i had to hit a wall every time to get of the shell to use the warp. Sorry but the Mario Kart Mod is better :(
