IMPORTANT: Load with CharacterSelect to use it

Our old friend DK is trying to get his golden bananas back, which were stolen by Bowser. Use his moves like rolling, ground slapping, chunk attack and more, in order to beat enemies and get 'em back.​

Great mod. Love the moveset, the attention to detail. Its very well made and enjoyable to play. Do wish the door star opening had been changed to fit the golden banana - but thats a minor nitpick from me

From the videos I've seen, this mod is great, however when I try to load it myself, on CS version 1.16.2 (should be the newest), the mod says that CS is required, despite it being enabled. I've tried to disable all mods but those, still nothing. No idea what could be causing this. (Other CS mods do work usually)

Make sure you installed CS correctly (deleted prev version instead of replacing it) since this mod was made with 1.16.2 and never had that issue

This is so slick its so impressive to see this added to Mario 64, even with all the crazy mods people have made over the years. It would be so cool to see a custom King K. Rool with his blunderbuss or crown toss to go with DK.

Honestly, outside of bugs, my only gripes with the mod are that the punch and ground-slap buttons should be swapped and that DK has a rough time getting onto thin platforms via climbing. The little flip he does when reaching the top usually overshoots any thin walls or beams I'm trying to get on top of, especially in custom levels.

Incredible moveset outside of that though, this is what DK64 should've been, and more Mario games need a new-game-plus kinda thing with DK like this mod creates for Mario 64.

i still have to get used to the moveset but it does feel very fun to play with. And the Bananza DK model looks really nice low poly here, too!

I noticed he causes weird behavior on the Propeller Fly Guy pet if you have both active though; whether or not you have Bananza DK selected so long he's active on CS if you try the pet's spin fly feature, both you and the pet will instead shrink together until disappearing, softlocking you where only a server reset fixes it. I toggled Bananza DK off and tried again and the pet then behaved normally.

Glad you liked it! About the bug, I just tried Propeller Fly Guy along with DK and it behaves normally, even with the moveset on. The only "bug" is that when you press Z, the player cancels the propelling and starts rolling, but that's inevitable since these are different mods and their features may overlap

Really fun mod. The movement with the rock slab is fun and just punching Toad out is hilarious.
